Default Help AC not working!

I have a 2004 350z and the AC is not working, the blower is working, but the compressor is not kicking on. Does anyone know where the AC fuse is located? I have checked the fuse box in the engine bay, and in the kick panel on the driver’s side. Also, does anyone know where the high pressure switch is for the AC? Any help would be great.

ditto this question - i've got the same scenario. blower works fine, but can't find a blown fuse. a tiny press of the schrader valves indicates the system is pressurized. can anyone point me to a specific fuse to check or another diagnostic method? its freaking hot as hell now, and the car is basically undriveable like this. thanks!

How many miles are on the car? I would initially suggest taking it to the dealership as a malfunction of this sort should be a warranty issue....

car is an '03 - out of warranty (never mind the APS single installed on it

there must be a fuse involved in pulling the AC clutch in... just need to know where it is.

I just had the same problem. After my turbo install, the tech overcharged my system and on really hot days the pressure rises causing the compressor to shut off. I had nearly 70lbs of pressure whcih is super high. I released it down to about 40 and all is well in turbo A/C land.

A/C runs a relay ---Either under hood or next to the Battery----134 Capacity is 1.21 LBs ----Pressure will be in the 30s on the low side and pushin 300 on hot days on the High side. pressure sw is on the accumulator located next to the Condenser ----Its set to kick off below 20PSI and above 398PSI---Oil capacity is 6 OZs

I've had this problem 3 times with my car, an '03. Apparantly my tuner is convinced some came with poor alignments for the AC unit. I had 1 belt go N/A and 2 Turbo'd. Check the belt on your ac compressor. Mine was gone or shredded. If thats not it then proceed with the fuses or relays.

If I think of it in the morn I will look. But tell me the history ,milage, what led up to the failure etc. The 350Z shop manual is very poor it seems at showing locations of relays, fuses. Maybe tomorrow I will pull the covers at the 3 fuse box locations and list them out. The covers generally have a diagram.

Well then --Start from square one ---See what the pressure readings on ur system are. If u got no pressure in the system ur comp will not turn on. Nother words, Did u burn a hole in the AC line because of heat from the turbo ?
Dude --Its complicated if u have not worked with AC. Several tests have to be run. But on the other hand it is difficult to find an honest AC place. If u got the gages and know a little bit about ACs I will walk u through it.
The disavantage of this though is it is not going to be a "ASAP"

I have same issue... I got a compressor from junk yard off a 06 350z and rested clutch before install, worked fine... now it's not engaging but it could be from having no freon in there so I'll put some freon and go from there.. anything else I should check?

Well I charged my system and the compressor clutch still will not engage... I'm going to disconnect battery for a few minutes and see if that resets the computer. Fingers crossed.

Well I found that I had no power coming from my ac clutch plug so i cut the wire and connected a longer wire through the driver door to a toggle switch and ran another wire from my batter positive post through my passenger door to the same toggle switch and what do you know... ac works.
