amsoil asl with oem filter?
I was thinking to do 30k mile maintenance myself since the dealer is going to charge 350+ for it.
after reading lots of threads, i decided on amsoil asl 5w-30. is this ok to use with the oem oil filter?

Amsoil is an excellent oil. The OEM filters are actually pretty good. Better than FRAM who are known for their crappy filtration rates and media. K&N,Purolator,M1, and of course Amsoil filters are all excellent. Id go with an Amsoil filter myself.

I use the Amsoil that you are contemplating and am very satisfied.
I decided to go with a K&N filter as you can use a 1" socket on the nut mounted to the end of the filter for easy removal/tightening. If you have a lift available, this wouldn't matter.
