"pop" noise when starting??!!! HELP

"pop" noise when starting??!!! HELP

My girlfriends car wouldnt start, finally it started and then stalled right away, started again, gave it some gas and the i hear a little POP and it stalls again.. Any ideas what the problem is or what the "pop" was?!!

Sounds like it's not firing, getting spark, fuel, air... hard to tell from what little you mention...
