Default Getting some TSB work done......

So I drop off my roadster to the Douglas Nissan in Huntington Beach for the rear axle clicking....they call me back letting me know that they want to replace my clutch pedal, transmission, and my soft top for all the current TSB's out for them.....didn't even think my car had the issues described in the TSB's...so I defiunitely give them a thumbs up for looking out for me...i just hope this doesnt turn into a TSB nightmare thread with my car in the shop for weeks.... i'll give an update on how the car feels/looks once the work is done....

Definite thumbs up to the dealer, if they are onto it enough to pick things up that need to be addressed.

Good luck!!

At least it's wheels to get around in and you'll appreciate your Zed even more when you get it back. Know how you feel though, I hate driving anything that doesn't have any hp and isn't rear wheel drive.

Keep us posted how you get on.

Shouldn't complain about your loaner. It's great they offer you ANY loaner. They certainly aren't obligated to do so.

so i just got the Z back from the dealership....my god what a difference....while everything was apart i had them replace the clutch..i could tell it was starting to burn out from my "spirited" driving. The transmission is a world of difference. Rowing throught the gears is as smooth as silk...the new clutch pedal is significantly softer and I don't have to get that knee replacement from stop and go traffic like i used to...living in OC is harsh on the clutch foot/knee...the new top is awesome...much thicker and the stitching is waaaaay better...the material is also more supple (maybe because it is new) and much thicker as well so the cabin noise has reduced significantly...I definitely thanks my service guy for looking out for me and it is like I have that new car feeling all over again. Definitely a thumbs up dealership experience.....oh yah and the axle clicking is gone as well.....
