The Answer:
My friend w/ G35C had this really annoying creaking noise when going over creaks and bumps at low speed. Into Driveways, or over speed bumps, the noise was driving him nuts. sounded almost like a popping noise...
SO. it turned out, his sway bar bushings needed a re-lube.. we had installed hotchkis sways about two years ago, and never checked up on them until this past weekend..
took off the front sway bar, cleaned the bar and cleaned both the bracket and the bushing of past grease and applied new hi temp resistance polyurethane grease. re torqued all the bolts to spec and checked the collars he had installed (still good)
did this for the front and rear bars and now the noise is completely gone.
hope this helps someone-

Hmm? Gotta look into that since I recently installed some sways & it does make the same type of noise you described.
Edit: Funny...this happened with my Hotchkis Sways too. Wonder if these sways just need extra lube...

I may have a little rubbing noise from time to time when going over bumps
