take it to the dealership, there always some funky promblems with the windows motor on the Z's. Search a little on the site, you'll see all the different problems people are having.

Same issue on my passenger window.

I took the door panel out and reprogrammed the window. Works fine now. for now...

Nissan window motors are so unreliable...

You need to reset the window motor, it also helps to take the motor apart and clean the contact points. I had the dealer reset it once and the problem came back. I did it myself and cleaned the motor and its been good for a month now. Search for window reset, you should find a thread with pics and detailed instructions on what you need to do.

The window motor needs to be put in time. This is also what they are refering to as reseting. You basically just take the door panel off, find the rubber button in the middle of the panel, its under one of the circular pads that you have to peel back. Connect your switch back up. Press the button, and go manual up to the top, then manual down to the bottom, manual up again to the top, release the button, and then try the auto feature and see if the motor learned the points where it needs to stop or not.
