Default Installed new window motor and its acting weird

When I hit the switch to make the window go up, it goes all the way up and then immediately 1/4 way down and stays like that. The only way to get it to stay up is to hold the switch down for about 5sec after its already up there. How do I fix this?

Try some super glue, and if that doesn't work.... DUCT TAPE!!! Duct tape will fix anything.

Sorry, I had to. I havent had to replace my window motors before so I've never had this problem. Anyone else have any ideas? Bump.

You need to perform the window reset procedure. https://my350z.com/forum/maintenance-and-repair/142013-window-motor-repair-replace-motor-brushes-7.html. See post #131
