Occasionally, (4x) so far, the passenger side door lock sticks half way, looking at the toggle lock **** in the inside of the passenger door.

First I thought it was due to the door latch on the outside of the door was pulled at the same time I hit the unlock button on the remote.

The only way to unlock the passenger door when it is in the above state is to push the toggle lock **** in the inside of the passenger side door to the unlock position because the remote does not lock or unlock and also the drivers side master lock button will not unlock or lock then unlock the passenger side door.

If it happends again, I will take it to the dealer. The dealer may have incorrectly reinstalled the door panel when they fixed the grease on the window.

I am curious if anyone have experienced this event.

I had the same problem on my CS Touring AT, passenger door lock would not function at all, form manually pressing the lock button on either door or from the remote key fob- had to manually lock the door from the inside. Took it to the dealer, they had to take the panel off, found that it was a defective door lock actuator, had to order a new actuator. The technician then warped the door panel( very tricky to remove and install back without damaging it)-so I told them to order a complete new door panel with handle etc!.

Works great now, but was very inconvenient at the time.

After 2 days I had these problems...

Passenger door lock actuator failed: remote fob and inside door lock button not unlocking or locking door when pressed.
Fix: New door lock actuator for passenger door
New door panel ( cos they bust it when trying to remove it)
New door grip with aluminum strip!.( damaged).
Apparently this problem is not that common from what forums I have read-must of been the unlucky one.

Passenger Leather seat: slit( from knife or something) on bottom cushion.
Fix: Replace whole new leather seat bottom.
Damaged aluminum Kickplate-when fitting new seat!.
Replaced kick plate.
Also scratched shifter aluminum trim-replaced with new one.

New Leather seat-Leather Flaking off-Nightmare-Like it was shedding its skin or drying out ??? , who knows, Got just the leather replaced this time-no problems now -perfect.!!.

At this point made them change the oil at 1200miles-Free.

Rear trunk lid panel, damaged, must of been damaged when guy at port installed the spoiler!. It was not fitted properly, clip busted.
Got new panel installed......

Everything ok for now-(fingercrossed).

I've had the same thing...but almost always when the passenger goes to open the door by pulling the handle (not the unlock) and I go to unlock it using the button on the driver's side at the same time. Get's stuck in the middle, have to toggle the passenger door lock to get it unstuck. And it seems to have happened a few other times without a passanger. So next time I bring it in for service...will probably have them look at it...along with my 4 rattles, a squeek, and the high pitched fuel pump ... but I still love the car!

Also have the passenger lock issue-- but also only when some one mysteriously stands next to that door :-)

her: Locked!
me: presing button-OKAY!
her: LOCKED!
me: pressing button-OKAY!!!!!
me: pause-look at interior lock...
me: GOD ^$*&! don't touch the the F'ing handle till I say to!!!
10 miles of pure silence.
