Lightbulb Brake light came on while driving..

Last night I was driving to get some dinner and the weirdest thing happend... my parking brake light came on. I was like wtf?I thought I was driving with the parking brake on but it was all the way down. I mean I wasnt going WOT or anything. This happend when I left the red light and took it to about 3500rpm and shifted to 2nd. Then it stayed on up until I made a right turn and slowed down to like 5mph and it went away. Everything has been fine since but u guys have any idea why this would happen? BTW my vdc was off when the brake light came on. I turned it back on but the brake light stayed on until I slowed down.

I haven't experienced this but from reading around on the forum (use your search button) you should check your brake fluid level. When you accelerated the sensor probably didn't read any brake fluid cause it shifted around a little. Apparently if you top it off you should be fine.

Yep, fluid level. You may losing fluids somwhere in your brake lines? Does the brake pedal feel soft or any different? Or your brakes were not bled correctly last time you did a brake job?

Pedal feel feels fine but my brakes do squeek really loud in the morning. I think my pads are worn out. Also what kind of brake fluid would u guys recommend? Well the car has around 17K miles on it so I havent done a brake job since I bought it. Thanks alot for the help. I appreciate it.:

Well from the sounds of that your pads are probably getting low... which is what causes your fluid level to reduce... check the pads and replace them if necessary. Regular dot 3 brake fluid is fine, if needed.
