Yes, I know that there have been tons of posts on this... but is there anyone out there who has a car built in 10/02 or later that HAS the alignment problem?? OR has anyone with a 10/02 or later car had their alignment checked just to be safe?? If so, what were the results??

Basically, if you have a newer car and know anything about the alignment, please write your story (and include the build date).

 

My 6MT Touring was built 10/02 and bought around Christmas. The VIN is around 6600. Due to the wonderful weather in NJ I only have about 1800 miles. Visual inspection of the tires looks nothing like the shredded tires which have been posted in other threads. Tactile inspection hints at an unusual wear issue, but its still very slight. I have not gotten the alignment checked as of yet, but plan to do so very soon.

I've been waiting for a few reasons.
1. I'd like to know that a TSB with a fix has been released for the tires.
2. Same goes for the window grease issue.
3. I also want to have the stereo looked at. It sounds very muffled, nothing like the Bose in my Maxima.

When I have more information (more miles or serviced) I'll post.

 

I purchased my car on 01/02/03 the vin is in the low 7000s I have about 4k miles and no abnormal tire wear.
