I had a AEM CAI installed, didn't like its performance in wet weather. I decided to install a JWT Pop Chgr. Did the CAI removal and Pop install myself. Now, when my engine reaches its normal operating temp, I hear a buzzing noise when accelerating. It took a while to isolate, but its coming from the MAF. Also, when the buzzing starts, I lose power. Is it possible that the MAF is installed in the wrong position? In the JWT installation guide, I notice that the MAF electrical connector is almost directly against the stabalizer bar mount. Mine is not. Or has my MAF gone bad from too much install? Can anyone help or has anyone had this problem?

 

are you 100% sure it's from the MAF?

My popcharger briefly hits the heat shield when I floor it suddenly.

If you post pics of your setup I can tell you if it's installed properly.
