OK, well im not sure if my transmission about to go bad but when i got my Z im pretty sure it wasnt this loud. When i start of from 1st gear i can hear it rattling pretty loud and gears dont seem to be going in as smoothly as they used to. Any opinions on this ? What should i do ??
Also i can hear a pretty loud rattling noise when the car is in neutral...

 

i have a similar situation for my 03 Z. the clicking noise is rear axle TSB. in addition to the clicking, it seems like my tranny have additional problem; it makes grinding + and air leaking sounds. i can't really describe the sound but it is quite loud. i taking my Z to the dealer next week. i'll post the results.

 

my tranny was loud and whiney too. took it to dealership, they replaced the clutch and tranny for free under the 60,000 miles warranty. i ahve an 03 6MT and just had it done yesterday.
