Default Help with Front Clicking sound

I'm fully aware of the rear clicking sound... But my sound is coming from the front-center to driver side area...

I have an 04 AT Enth - 35K Miles - daily driver -

Haven't had any major problems with the axles, suspension, shocks, etc although I do have Eibach springs.

Anyway, all of a sudden I started hearing this ticking/tapping sound when I'm slowing down/speeding up, esp between 10 - 20mph. No sound beyond that range. No odd smell or leaks that I can see. Wheels are not rubbing the fender or tapping the calipers either. My break pads need to be replaced but there is no grinding and only a slight squeak on the initial bite. I do not remember running over anything that could get stuck inside or hitting any nasty potholes.

I had this sound for a couple of days, then it went away for a day and now its back again. Haven't driven my Z since last Wednesday.

Any ideas what this could be? I can't figure it out!

I have an appointment at Z Car Garage in about a week but I'm trying to figure out what's going before I take the Z in so I can decide whether its safe or not to continue driving.

Any ideas? Suggestions? Help!

Thanks in advance!

RNL323, You might have done this,,,but just my experience in my Titan,,,,I had same clicking sound around same speed,,,but it would go away,,then come back when slowing down or going slow..I finally inspected my tires and found a screw/bolt head in my tire that was striking the ground...At low speeds you will hear the click...Again,,,you might have checked this,,,,just thought this might help,,,,,

check out www.nissanhelp.com, go to bulletins, and look at the one that addresses (ticking, clicking, thumping or knocking noise). My '05 has had it since day one, dealer claims it is a "noisy" fuel damper assembly. Part is on order, I'm crossing my fingers, car only has 7,000 miles.
