Default Tail lights

Today my tail lights started blowing the 10a fuse next to the battery. I have checked all the bulbs which seem to be fine. Anyone ever experience this? What was the fix? I have changed the fuse 3 times and it continues to pop. Any Ideas? Thanks in advance.

Yes OEM tail lights. Recently I had a right tail light burn out. I changed the bulb about a week ago everything seemed fine but now the fuse keeps blowing. I pulled the bulb I changed thinking maybe the bulb was shorted and still popping fuses. I thought it could be my alarm install so I eliminated the wire going to the tail/parking lights.

Yep has something to do with your alarm install!

I eliminated the wire that was hooked up to the parking lights that goes to the alarm. Still pops fuses. I was hoping someone ran into this problem before. I will check the Head unit and the alarm again but I installed these item over two years ago and haven't had any problems. The problem started happening after I had a burnt out tail light and I replaced the bulb. Strange stuff.

*UPDATE* After troubleshooting all morning I found the problem. A wire at my Alpine head unit shorted out. It was the illumination wire. The wire wore through the insulation and shorted out. Time to go for a drive up the coast.
