Observations of my new Z
I picked up my Daytona Blue Performance yesterday. In two days, I have racked up a mere 130 miles on the car. Already, I have a few of problems.
1) The car sounds like it has a bad throwout bearing already. With the clutch out in neutral, it gives a spinning rattle .. press the clutch in, it goes away.
2) Lurching of the line in 1st, there is alot of tranny clunking and noise. Sounds more than normal ... maybe not. Shifts fine though .. no grinding.
3) The plastic insert on the drivers side dash by the windshield that holds the security light, rattles BAD in the dash. Jeez !
I saw some posts on the throw out bearing issue back in October. Are there any updates ... is this typical? I would hate to have to take this thing back after less than 200 miles for a problem.
Other that all that, the car rocks. I am following the breakin to a T.
