depends how you drive, if you drive normal and are fine with stock stay with stock. If on the other hand you suffer from a case of a lead foot and like peeling out etc buy a heavy duty clutch and do flywheel at same time. ACT, clutchmasters etc. I still have stock on mine and still good nuff to spank most cars out there!

31,000 miles is not really "already" considering a lot of Z owners are driving MTs for the first time.

I would suggest an After Market Kit ------ The stock is a bit too much "comfort" for my tastes. Im kinda sold on the JWTs but a lot of guys are going with the ACTs

We love the JWT set up, It gives you a close to stock feel and will work well with both a NA set up or a FI set up. Right now we are doing the set (Clutch and Flywheel) for $800 + shipping.

Off the subject a little, but when I was still SC, I think I would have prefered an Iron (Not Ceramic) Puck Disc and that is the way I will go in the future.

still, unless the owner is riding on the clutch all the time, original clutch should last more then 31K miles.

Of course it should, but as I said, a lot of Z drivers are driving MTs for the first time. I bought my 03 with 20,000 on it, and the first thing I had to do was a clutch and brake job---HAD to be done. Original owner blamed it on his daughter, I knew better since I drove with him the day I bought it.
