Default Ramps

Anyone know of a ramp you can use for a lowered Z to help ease in oil changes. Thanks in advance.

Takata Ramps. Search yahoo for who sells them. About $70-90.

i believe pep boys sells a variation of the "takata" ramps for 1/3rd the cost - work very well....

or check out www.rjracecars.com - in their online store they have some nice ramps that we got and put in our race trailer for the cars at the track - work really well and good pricing..( http://www.rjracecars.com/cgi-bin/sq...15002&pid=1196 )

it looks, (from pictures) that the takata ramps aren't high enough for my needs. my Z is stock and i can't fit my jack under it. solution, i went to home depot and for 5 bucks, i got a plank of wood cut into 4 pieces that i use as ramps/wheel chokes.

+1 on finding the ramps at pepboys, autozone or even target. i saw some there for 20 bucks.

No ramps will allow you to get under a lowered Z, they only aid in getting jacks under, etc. All you need is Craftsman's jack for low profile vehicles and you will be able to get it under your car with no issues and then use jack stands from there. I have the Takata ramps and very rarely use them.

I have some ramps i got out of the mid-america corvette catalog, they are about twice as long as normal ramps and the same height....they work perfectly for the Z.
