Default Tire pressure sensor problem

Has anybody had any problems with a faulty tire pressure sensor where the computer readout and warning signal on the dash indicates a low pressure situation, but the actual tire pressure taken with an accurate guage is perfectly fine.

Is it a faulty sensor? Any suggestions on what I should do?

The dealer needs to recalibrate it with the help of an accurate pressure guage.

Thanks, but how is the recalibration done? I'm assuming they won't know how to fix it and the more info I have the better.

The proceedure is in the service manual. I would hope your dealer would have the service manual. The dealers also should have the calibration tool. Just tell them to look in the service manual because I know for a fact that the proceedure is in there.

Thanks bobbyz. If anyone has a copy of that page of the service manual and would be kind enough to post it, I'd be greatly indebted!
