i removed it by turning.. u have to remove the rotor though

You can make a jig out of wood to press the studs out in a vise. Just a piece of 2x4 with a round hole in it.

yea i cross threaded mine and the shop just poped the broke one out. and charged me 13 dollars to put a new one in.

remove rotor, turn hub so there's clearance behind stud, hammer out with hammer.

I thought you could damage the hub bearing by doing that?

Naw, those studs come out with a few taps. The hub is held on nice n' snug with a large nut. I've done it on a couple cars and never had any problems.

No, Iv seldomly, for the 100s of studs Iv knocked out, ever had to pop it but once with a ball peen hammer and also seldomly messed up the threads if I had to reuse it.
