Default Changing Pads + Rotors = Need to bleed brakes?

My bro's G needs new rotors and pads (sedan-non brembo). I know that just changing pads you won't need to bleed the brake fluid. But he needs new rotors as well. Would I have to bleed the brake fluid? On a scale of 1 - 10 , one being installing a pop charger and a ten - turbo kit. How hard is this job? Any insight is appreciated.

i would not bleed the brakes unless you have to. its not difficult its just time consuming. have you ever tried to use a C-clamp to compress the caliper?

Not difficult. I'd pads and rotors are probably a 2.

bleeding the brakes take a long time, but i knwo it makes a big difference if its been a while. Doing rotors and pads is a 2-3 out of 10 and it shouldn't take more than 1.5 hours for all four sides if you do it alone. With two people, 30 minutes ish. The hardest part is getting the caked on dust off the caliper and cleaning up the mess the stock pads make on the dust shield ect. Make sur eyou have some kind of brake cleaner handy
