Does any one else have this problem? I sometimes try to start the Z and nothing happens. I have to keep pushing in the clutch over and over to get it to "catch". It's not battery related and I have the clutch fully engaged but it's like there is a sensor in there that allows the car to start only when the clutch is fully depressed. It seems like that sensor is bad. I see all of the standard problems here that we all seem to have but haven't heard of this one yet. My car is an 03 Track w/ 36k miles so all of these little nagging problems are really annoying. If any of you guys have the fix for this please chime in but it looks like a trip to the stealership is in my future.
I've had a similar occurence in my Z last week. I tried two or three times with nothing happening. I stepped the clutch a few times to no avail. Next, I used the remote to lock the car and turn right back around and unlock the car. I tried to start the car again and it worked perfectly.
I came back to the car later that night and it did the same thing, but i was able to step the clutch pedal a couple times and it started right up. Sligthly annoying, but it hasn't happened since.

the pressure switch behind your clutch pedal is probably worn out. It happened to me three times last month, i had to press the clutch a couple of times to start the engine. i sprayed a little WD-40 on the switch about 10 days ago and i haven't encountered a single malfunction since....keeping my fingers crossed.
