Default Service Engine Soon Light

This weekend I gave the Z a Mild Tuneup and now my engine light wont go off. I did oil and filter change with synthetic, new air filter (CAI), new belts, and cleaned the throttle body with carb cleaner. Not sure when the last tuneup was done on the car as I bought it used a month ago, runs much better now but darn light wont go out. Any Ideas

you might have damaged the MAF sensor.

yes it would pick up that code right away. What chemical base did u use to clean the throttle body? And how many miles do u have on ur Z?

Did u disconnect the MAF connector while replacing the air filter?

sometimes it might disguise as faulty O2 sensor...it all depends on the manufacturer.

my bet would be MAF.

mine threw the service engine light because one of the screws holding the MAF in place was loose. not completly out, but loose. screwed it back down, and had no problem.

You most likely got something on your MAF sensor, whatd you use on your throttle body? Also if your using a brand new air filter for your cai which I cant think why, im guessing your using a k&n and its probably over oiled.
