Window problems
Ok, I've had this car for around a month now and it's going back to the dealership for the third time for a dead passenger side window. It just doesn't want to go up or down. At what point, do I need to bring the service manager or dealership manager into this and ask them when it's going to get fixed right? I'm getting sick and tired of this thing being at the dealership all the time. The first time they claimed ther replaced the regulator, the second time it was the motor and regulator again. WTF. Sorry, just had to vent a little frustration people.

Depending on the State you are located, shouldn't you qualify for somekind of "Lemon Law?" In California, I know if something cannot be fixed after three attempts, then it is Officially a Lemon. However, I don't know if a window can cause a car to be a Lemon or not. Most dealerships try to side-step these consumer laws by attributing the issues to different things each time. For example, with your windows they may say the first issue was the motor, the second the switch, etc.
Hope this helps.
Hope this helps.

I had the same problem with my driver side window, but the dealer did fixed it under warrenty. They said they got a lot of those and knew exactly what was wrong. They changed the motor and all is good now.

What year is the car?
btw, I don't think Lemon Law will apply in most states with this particular issue, but you never know. Most state the issue must be a "defect or condition that substantially impairs the use, value, or safety of a motor vehicle."

I had that problam with mine but the driver side window wouldnt roll down, So after 4 hours at th dealership ( luckly it was a nice day and I brought my friend to hang around with me) It was fixed and only cost me $50 bucks, I can tell they put a new motor in, Tell them to replace the motor because I know how annoying it is to not having the window not working.

I bought my car from a dealer about 2 months ago and it comes with a 3 month warrenty from the dealer, then i bought the 60K mile or 5 year extended warrenty, The reason it cost me 50 bucks is because thats my deductable, I want a new tranny in mine also, I here a thump nosie when i put it in first sometimes, Did you buy the car from a dealership? if so there should be a couple months warrenty, I think once my 3 months is up the extended warrenty is only for the powertrain and engine so I hope nothing else goes wrong,

It's a 2004. According the invoice, they have already replaced the motor and regulator. It's going to back to the dealership again on Mon, so I guess well have to see what transpires. Appreciate the help folks.
Edit: I bought it with a 8 year/100K mile warranty but I think it's only for the drivetrain/powertrain. Hopefully it all works out
