1900 miles, build date 02/03

I've had the window streaks, which are a mild irritation, and the shifting driver's seat, also a mild irritation.

The front tires are starting to wear unevenly on the inside edge, but they're not making noise at this point. I'm going to take it in tomorrow and request an alignment.

I'm reasonably confident that there will be some kind of fix eventually for the tire wear problems, but it's irritating. I hope an alignment slows down the problem.

Thumbs up My New 350Z Touring Model

I purchased my 350Z in October 2002. I now have 3000 miles on it. To answer your concerns, I did have the window streaking on both windows. It results from a window roller problem that has a factory repair kit that will repair the problem under warranty.

The front tire feathering problem hasn't affected me as of yet. I understand it may occur around 5,000 miles. Some people in my 350Z car club have experienced it. It deals with the front tires only having a toe adjustment possible. I have heard of some people having it and others with 9,000 miles on their car say they've not had the problem.

The only other irritating problem I have encountered with the car is the residual black dust on the rims that comes from the disc brake pads. The wheels really get a serious build-up of black dust that the metal impregnated brake pads throw off.

I have noticed no other problems with the car. I have the auto/manual transmission and it has had no problems with noise, fluid, etc.

Suggestion: The front bumper is really prone to chipping of the paint due to road stones. If you get a 350Z, consider putting the 3M plastic shild on the front bumper, front portion of the hood, and on both rear view mirrors. It helps considerably. I am told it costs about $450.00.

I picked up my new Daytona Blue Enthusiast at the end of February. The only slight problem has been a minor movement of the driver's seat when turning hard. The dealer has a replacement seat track waiting for me. Other than this, the car has been amazing. It has greatly exceeded my expectaions in every way. The 350Z is the best car that I have ever owned, and the compliments flow at every stop light !!
