Question for people who bought there 350z in last few months
Im thinking of purchasing a 350Z touring model and I have been looking around at all the forums and notice there are a few problems with the car that worries me. So i was wondering if anyone who has bought there car in last few months has had problems with window streaking (well thats not a big deal really), tire feathering (guess u would only know this if u drive like a ton), any extra noise that u didnt notice or didnt have when u bought the car (like rattles etc) and any problems with the paint?
Might wait for the 2004 models if there are alot of people that have these problems with the newer 2003.
Thanks

Bought my car on Feb.28, January build, at 1,000 miles. Absolutely no problems whatsoever. People keep telling me it looks like a Porsche. Can't complain at the price I paid!

Jan. Z
Bought mine right at the end of January and have about 3500 miles on it. Absolutely no problems, except to much snow for a Z this winter. I'm really enjoying it, lots of compliments, stereo system is a little on the cheap side, but I can always upgrade. The suspenion is stiff and there is some bounce on bad roads, but I don't think its inordinate. Just not a camry. No tire feathering for me.

Ok got my red with black leather interior (fully loaded) 350z touring. I love the car so far. Only done 40 miles on it tho so cant really say much about it. I do have window streaking. Will ask the dealer if there is a fix for that or whatever. But its not really a big deal

I got my DB Touring on Jan 23 and except for the window grease streaks(which there is a TSB for now) the only problem I have is keeping the speed down so I don't get a ticket. Nicest car I've evr owned!!!!!

Purchased my Z jan 18th and have 4k miles. I have the window grease problem, but no tire feathering signs. I just had my Borla Cat back installed this weeked and had a good opportunity to check the tire wear. So far, Things have been very good. Manufacture date Nov, 2002.

Took delivery on my Z Feb 11th. I have 2k miles on it now. None of the problems listed above. I love it - runs and shifts better the more miles I put on it.
I have to agree with everyone on this site regarding the BOSE however.

Picked my CS Enthusiast up three weeks ago, 1800 miles and no problems. Love the car lots of compliments and a blast to drive.
The only minor problem I have is after washing my car the outside tracks of the windows stay wet for a day or two. I can roll my windows down a day later and will get wet streaks, not grease. It's not to big of a deal though, it does dry up in a few minutes.
Go for it, Happy Trails. You will love the car.

had mine for almost 1 month
fully loaded w/nav
1400miles so far
no problems except for streaky windows.
the dealer said they would take car of it, but i dont want them tearing the door panels off for something this silly, cause i know once i get it back something will be squeeking in the doors.
ne way there is only so much grease in those motors....i think once the overflow is used up we shouldnt have any more problems. just make sure you clean it often so new grease is being used up.
