Do a search. I'm not sure about the grease streak but I know there's a DIY for the window motor in here somwhere. My motor went out last summer, cleaned it out and is still working perfectly. Saved me a good chunk of change.

+1 on the window motor write up. But for somereason my window doesn't move that extra bit to seal the car. When I close the door, it just stays there. Anyone know how to set the window limit?

the dealer will reset it if your car is still under the 3yr/36kmiles warranty.

Sweet. But they might hassle me because it started after I took off the door for the stereo install.

My window motor went bad bout 2 months ago. It wouldn't go up. When I was able to get it up after 1 week. it didn't close completely to when u shut the door it goes up a bit more. So i had a stereo system place check it for me, for $20. they took the window motor and hit it a couple times, and fixed it lol. Ever since, my window works fine. up and down and close when the door is shut. kinda weird...

Had mine reset this morning. Works like a charm for now. Sadly though the warranty is up and I had to $80.

There is a reset procedure TSB for the motor. cleaning helps
You can try to clean the felt with a degreaser when the door cover is off.
If you need a motor, pm me

Autozone sells a replacement motor for the window for about $130 + your old core. It also comes with a lifetime warranty. I put one on my driver window and it works great.
