Yea that was posted a few months ago.
So what is it like going into 3rd gear with this problem?
That way I can recognize it if it ever pops up.
I haven't notice grinding yet, but sometimes I have
trouble engaging gears, or sometimes it's slow to engage
1st-3rd.

The Clevis may not be the final cause for the failures.
I had my tranny replaced along with getting the new Clevis.
With about 3200 miles on the new tranny, I am starting to hear things that make make me believe that this tranny will be failing soon like the one before it.
What sounds you may ask:
-The throw out bearing sound is now very audible
-The gear whine that has always been noticible is now not as smooth sounding. Before it sounded very clean and mechanical, not unlike a supercharger whine. Now it sounds very metallic.
-I have twice grinded 2nd, shifting as I have thousands of times before. Yes it was during quick acceleration. Yes, the clutch was fully depressed. No, I didn't try to shift TOO fast. I shifted at the same pace that has worked for me uncountable number of times. Finally, yes the tranny was fully warmed up; we had been driving for 45 min.
that is all i can think of right now.
