Default transmission question

hey i just got my trans. replaced.

and is there a possible way they can put a different trans in? i feel like my car is slower for some reason. although i dont gas it too much cuz i wanna break the engine in a bit, but do u think thats why? 1st to 2nd gear just seems slow. and it takes me 3rd gear to hit 60mph.

before 2nd gear would get me to 59mph. idk, it just seems like it would get to that 59mph alot slower.

is there anyway i can prove to them its not the correct trans? or do i just need to break it in a bit.

Ask them for a receipt. The part number that is on the receipt should be search-able on most 350z sites like this one. That part number should be for the new transmissions they are putting in. It is the same transmission that came with the car, but with stronger internals.

i got the invoice. these are all the things it says on there. i honestly dont know what to look for, but this is it.

HE01AA R&I Manual Transmission Assy
1048 WN

1. 32010-CD009 Transmission
(then the rest of the numbers tell me what else they added with it.)

HE021A Combination: RPL Manual Transmission Assy.

FC: BB32
Part # 32010CD009

Do any of those numbers ring a bell? i have no idea about them ,so i figured id learn the quick why by here. thanks dudes

I'm new here, but I've been doing some research on the 350z.. The CD009 is the newer transmission whereas the CD001 was the older one.. The CD009 is the same transmission as the CD001, but it has stronger internals.. So you SHOULD be fine.. If it still acts like that after a couple hundred miles.. Take it back to them and let them know.. Hope I was helpful enough.
