Talking 5th gear grind = new transmission...yay!

I went to Nissan for an oil change today and since recently (about a week ago) I've been having a bit of grinding when shifting from 4th to 5th gear and the Z only has about 28,xxx miles on it so I had them check that out. I don't know if it's a common problem with the Z's since they didn't b.s. me with just changing the fluids and waiting or asking me a bunch of questions, the tech just took it up the road and verified it was grinding, it was like "ok another Z with a grind... let's get it ordered" so I'm glad my car is gonna get fixed without a hassle from the dealership and with no cost to me

$50 deductible, if you have one. I'm on my 3rd Tranny right now ( I got the 07Tranny on my 03)

wow you're on your third tranny, how many miles did you get out of each? I hope I don't have any issues with the new one any time soon, my factory warranty runs out in June so fortunately I don't have to pay anything this time.
