what is the proper way to put my car on jackstands

Default what is the proper way to put my car on jackstands

i need to do some work and i need to take the wheels off, so i bought some 2 ton jackstands and a 2 1/2 ton trolley jack. i think these will hold the car but im not 100% sure. also when i put the car on the jacks how should i do it, where should i lift and is there any order to which side goes up first?? thanks

do fronts first if u look under ur car there is a 2nd rail further in that u can jack up on and has a perfect with for those jackstands. it is going to be behind the front wheels. then after u jack each side take ur jack and from the rear just jack up the brace in the middle that has the bolt from the pumpkin on it up

the pic looks like i lift on the diff. is that right or is their something right near it the i use to lift?

For the rear I usually just jack the car up from the pumpkin and leave the jack there, unless I have to crawl under. If that's the case, add some stands to the rear also. You can place the stands under the aluminum spring housing for the rear wheels. I find that place pretty sturdy.

That's what I did yesterday since I just put on my Veilside sides (no more space to put jackstands. Is that a reliable place to put jackstands?

dont mean to sound stupid but what is the pumkin your talking about. ive never heard that term before.

differential in the middle of the rear axle.
