Whats the clevis pen do??

also I just got my new tranny, and for some reason my exhaust sounds a lot more cleaner. I am not the only person that noticed it as well, everyone thus far that has ridden in my car has noticed it.

From what i was able to gather from a Nissan Service Manager...the clevis pin has something to do with the actuation of the clutch fork....mine is on order at the moment

how long did it take u to get ur clevis pin ordered and installed... cuz my car is waiting for a clevis pin and its been about a week and a half...and still haven't gotten it GRRR!

I believe the pin just regulates the travel of the pedal. Do you guys know what a clevis pin is or should I get some info in here for ya? I posted it in another thread months ago...

Actually after looking at the manual it is the clevis which regulates the travel of the clutch, it is screwed on to the push rod and held in place to the pedal by the "clevis pin", so I would think the clevis is what would be the problem, or the push rod as there is only a couple o threads left on mine to extend the length. Unless there is another clevis pin somewhere else.
