when they replace your tranny, do they also replace the clutch?

when they replace your tranny, do they also replace the clutch?
The reason I ask that is my clutch seems different, seems like it has a lot more spring to it, like my old viper gts. My wife hates its, she says it gives her a leg cramp. Anyone know??
