Default Not your average window question...

I've had my 03 Z for almost 4 years now and have encountered the usual window problem (only on my driver side) for the past year and a half where it goes down 1/3 when using the AUTO up. It rarely happens in colder weather though, so summer is the worst. Anyways, last summer the issue came to a head when the window would go down 1/3 when i shut the door and i could not get it to go all the way up so I reset the motor and everything was 100% good again. Fast forward to a year later and I'm having a different type of issue where the drivers side is going up very slowly when its about to reach the top. Strangely enough the way to get it to go ALL the way up NOW is to use the auto up instead of holding the switch. Anyone know if another reset would fix THIS type of issue or is it just inevitable the motor is about to die? I plan on selling the car in the next 9 months, and I don;t wanna deal with the hassel of spending money to fix it and then maybe have it break again, so I may just leave the windows up for good for now....

I'm not LSmith but I did stay in a Holiday Inn

I've cleaned my motor only to have it fail again. I replaced the motor with an Autozone motor. It takes just as long (about 30-40 minutes) to replace the motor as it does to clean it.

This thread will guide you though the cleaning process if that's the way you chose to go.
