I just changed the fluid in the tranny to amsoil and holy crap did it make a huge difference. I can't believe, how smooth the car shifts into gear now. I recommend this to everyone with a 6MT car.

South Florida...The SAE weight of the MTL-P, 75w85, is identical to the stock dino, but from a bit if reading on bobistheoilguy.com it seems these numbers are more significant:

Specialty Formulations MTL-P
K. Viscosity@100C: 11.3 cSt
K. Viscosity@40C: 73.2
Pour Point: -47 F
Specific Gravity: 0.87
Viscosity Index: 141

I recently went to:
Manual Transmission -
Redline
2 qts. MTL 70w80 (GL-4)
2 qts. MT-90 75w90 (GL-4)

I haven't had a chance to test drive it. I've heard nothing but great results though...

Don't count on it. You'll have to go to an authorized dealer or get it online.

That's what I'm hoping. Mine was starting to get alittle rough on the shifting. I won't know any results until I finish the radiator flush, then I can drop the car and test drive it.

Thats my next change, I plan on going Amsoil. I have Redline Synthetic Mix right now and its really good, car shifts smooth. Curious to see how Amsoil will perform on my car.
