Fan running without the car being on (then the parking lights)
It's been raining like crazy in Texas for the past 2 days. Once I got home I garaged the car and didn't think anything about the car. I went to grab something out of the garage later on tonight I noticed a sound coming from the car. Sounded like a fan was on. So I grabbed my key and turned the car on. When doing so, the fan noise quit.
When I turned the car off, the fan started back up again. So after messing around with the car some more I turned the car off and was about to disconnect the battery. I noticed the parking lights had turned on this last time once I turned the car off. After jacking with the car, I finally figured I could get the parking lights the fan to quit spinning once I turned my lights on all the way.
Any idea what the culprit might be? I'm assuming it's some electrical issue associated with all the rain we've been having. This is the first time the car has ever acted like this since I got it back in 2003.

Not low on coolant.
Earlier this morning when I got up the car was totally dead. I had to get a set of jumper cables to start the car. After jumping it, I let it run for a while and turned it back off again. Then the weirdest thing happened; the rear wiper was moving on it's own (sporadically). I left the key in the ignition turned to on position to on position to stop the rear wiper from acting all weird.
When into the house to grab something and then the car was dead again. I just got the battery earlier this year because the original battery died.
After getting to the dealership, they ran tests on my car. 3 hours later, they came back to me with a long list of codes but all that had cleared out by then. They mentioned that the keys needed to be reprogrammed.
The cars been working ok since then. Gremlins are in my ride.

I think I finally figured out what's going on.
After I got back home tonight, I needed to look for something in the car. I tried using the dome lights but they were out. I then looked through the forum for possible dome light replacements but came across another thread (where the guy had the same issue ... with the dome lights).
Apparently the BCM is going bad in my car. The TSB number is NTB03001.
