Default My 350 BROKE DOWN 2DAY:(

Yeah all I did was drive 2 minutes down the road and pull in to a parking lot and it just died on me. I pushed it to an empty spot and tried to crank it and all it did was turn over. Hope it's nothing big maybe fuel pump something like that I have the Super Premium Ultra Gold package warranty so I just called them and the towed it to the dealership. The only problems I've ever had was a little water in the intake, not sucking up just splashing, don't buy the AEM cold air unless you want that. Hopefully the dealership won't try to make that out to be the problem cause the motors not locked up it's just not getting fuel or spark. Why deal with it when it's under warranty?

The Dealership just called me and they said it's something with the computer. He said nothing is communicating with him( ABS, Transmission control module). He was thinking that I had done something with the computer like a reflash or somethin.

It was only for a couple hundred cars. If you didn't get a letter, chances are your VIN number wasn't in the magic range.

of course that is what they are going to say, because they want to repair it on your dime, not theirs. if they are persistent with that crap you are going to have a much bigger problem on your hands. The law says they have to prove it, but they will be quick to lie about it. Good luck.

Based on his sig, it don't think he has a flashed ECU. I think what he's saying is that the dealer told him the problem is with the ECU and they are trying to find out if he has one that's been reflashed.

FWIW- I have an '05 and my car just had the CPS replaced. It did not die, though. It went into like a limp mode where it wouldn't rev past 1500rpm's or so without coughing and sputtering- but it did not store a code (no CEL). While sitting on the side of the road talking with a friend who has a bit more knowledge about this type of thing, he said unless it stores a code, it may be hard for the dealer to diagnose.

Luckily, while trying to make it rev, I got it to come up with a CEL. It ran fine after that and I took it to the dealer the next morning.

There was a TSB on the CPS, but no recall for my car.

All it was was a blown fuse, I feel like a dumbass cause I was just too busy to even look at it cause I had to go back in to work and by the time I got off they had already come and got it. It was a Engine Management fuse I think they said....

damnn bad choice of sending it to the dealer. Especially when u have modds. u should've remove all the mod before sendin it there. They might void it because of the AEm. But goood lucK!

Why would they void "it" because of the AEM?

They can refuse to cover a problem under warranty where the modified part has specifically led to the failure, but they can not void the warranty.
