Low speed stick rattle
I noticed sometimes when I'm in 1st or 2nd, when I depress the clutch I hear a rattle from the shifter from under the car. This happens only when I'm going at a slow speed or just slowing down. Did anyone else notice this?
is it because the car is near stalling since you said at slow speed?
or are you hearing clinking instead of rattle? by the way, sometimes the rattle comes from the shifter because the shift booth touches the shifter, hope it helps

i have the same thing on my car!! its usually slow speeds... like in a parking lot turning slowly and then shifting to 2nd. I dunno what it is, but it does sound like its coming from under the car. My friend noticed it when he rode in my car one time. He said.. "WTF was that?!?"

Yep that's it. It never happens when you're upshifting or downshifting; only when you're in a low gear coasting. Then once you depress the clutch; rattle... It doesn't happen all the time but it is annoying.
At low speed, depress the clutch (you will hear clink sound) and shift to "N" really fast, then let the car roll. That's what I do at low speed....or leave the gear in 1st and drive slowly.
