Default Paint Chips On Hood

I have a brickyard Z with just over 15000. I do alot of highway driving for my job. I have almost 20 chips although very small they were clear down to the primer. I am in the process of raising hell. It will get fixed or I will park outside the dealer with a sign and show my car as an example as to what a new buyer should expect. Maybe that will get someones attention. I hope I can find a legal way to do this. I will at least threaten them to expose this and the many complaints on this site as evidence.

If this does not help does anyone know how this can be repaired. I was laready told by experts that never is a second paint job as good as from the manufacturer. They say you can even have more chips.

I will sell this car if they cant repair before it gets any worse. Just think what all these will look like in 3 years? ? ? Bummer.

I feel your pain.
Do you have a clear bra installed?
I had one put on my Z after I had the car for about two weeks and it has all but eliminated any rock chips on the front bumper or hood.

Have you tried touch-up paint? I have heard good things about using this product with touch-up paint. Gets rid of the GLOB.

Hope this helps.

It is unfortunate, but as a 350z owner myself, I have to say they do not have the best paint finish. I beleive both Motor Trend and C&D both gave the paint a poor rating. I do quite a bit of highway driving, and a couple trips with no bra has made the front bumper a little rough from bug impacts. The paint seems soft as nail polish on the front end. Ohh well.... thats why House of Colours is in business.
