Default VQ35HR Oil Filter - Searched no luck

As you all know the new HR motor calls for a 15208-65F01 (oil filter) while the DE uses the -65F00. Does anyone know the difference? I can't imagine Nissan making dealers carry 2 different part numbers if indeed the filters are the same.

This question was asked in the past, however no one at the time knew the answer. I am hoping someone has taken the time to dissect the new 15208-65F01 oil filter by now.

If they are the same, they wouldn't call for a different one. THere are many factors in deciding on an oil filter. It could be filter size, pressure loss, etc. Just buy whatever the factory calls for and call it a day, why waste your time on something useless?
