probably a malfunction with the unlock mechanism on your keyless entry. If you hold the unlock button for 3-5seconds it will roll down your windows.

Your motor's internal switches have failed; causing it to lose its memory. Mine did so at 6k miles. Dealership reset the motor first. When they failed again 2 weeks later, motor was replaced immediately.

Easy reset problem.... you can find a sheet under the window problem from Nissan that explains how to reset it and how to take your door off. Did that and have since replaced a window motor too.. not hard at all. You have to reset the new motor as well....
Good luck

My passenger's side window is experiencing wierd problems also. Not the same as the OP, but along the same lines. When I click on the auto roll up , the window will roll up about half way then go back down. I have to hold the switch for it to roll up all the way. Is this also a window motor problem?

I have a problem too! It’s just my passenger side thought. When you open the door the window stays up in its sealed position so you can’t close the door without putting the window down, shutting the door and then putting the window back up from the other side. I guess it’s the motor too, but my car is not under warranty!!! So how much does the window motor cost?

Certainly. When the motor loses it's memory, it doesn't "know" where the window is when you roll it up or down. Your "anti-pinch" feature is likely kicking in when the window reaches mid-way, so it rolls back down. Resetting will fix it as long as you follow the procedure correctly (listed in TSB) but it may return. In that case, replacement is the only fix.
