Default You would think replacing the window motor would be a permanent fix...NOPE!

So my Z is a little over 4 years now and for about 3 months until I replaced the window motor in early June, the window was doing all the normal stuff everyone has heard about from going back down half way by itself up until it would barely go up at all anymore with a struggle. Well with the help of a forum member we put in a window motor from CARDONE in early June, and the problem was fixed or so I thought. Fast forward to last night and all of a sudden the window won't go down AT ALL. It had no signs of dying like the other one did. Even when I open the door the window doesn't go down the normal small amount! Luckily for me the window still BARELY clears the pillar and I dont have to worry about the window shattering or anything but still. 2 questions...First off is there ANY chance a fuse popped causing this (since it happened out of nowhere), the passenger side still works perfect. Second question is would doing the reset button trick fix this type of problem at all? OH, and I tried banging the door to see if it would go down at that point, no luck

I've replaced my drivers window motor three times now. Fortunatly Autozone gives you a lifetime warranty so I only had to pay for the motor once.

buy an OEM window motor and it should last you longer.
I have both windows motor replaced by OEM parts and did not have any problem.
