I know this may sound super simple/stupid, but go to your dash gauge and adjust your rev limiter ...if it lets you go above 6500 or 6600 (I can't remember what stock was, then your reflash is still present. I think the TN lets you go to 7100rpms

(its obvisous the exhaust was clogged internally) for the overnight and the reflash and a set of spark plugs and 4 hours of labor which i felt was really really fair. so sometimes thinking the most complicated reason something is doing something is not always correct you have to take a step back and look at each car and problem as a step by step procedure to find what the cause was we all like to come up with a theory of why something does not work and try to make it fit the problem but its hard sometimes to give the correct advice without being present in the shop or knowing the cars history ! needless to say the customer has the car and is very happy and the problem was repaired in a step by step manner of logical trouble shooting procedure. i want to thank everyone on these forums for their advice and effort to help a fellow enthusiast a very happy holiday and a great new year and although i may not agree with mrc all the time i d like to extend my hand of friendship to jullian as we go forwad into the new year and wish the guys in that camp a very happy new year also i want the same for sharrif and all the other shops and sponsors that support this z &g community thank you and happy holiday...vinny ten

OK Let me clarify a few things real quick, Vrt Is not vinny ten racing, hence the VRT NOT VTR, and by the way i have my car back and it drives better than i hoped, it was the ecu, vinny sent it out for me and really hooked me up, its very interesting how i joined this form, ask a question and all i get is bashing of the place I took it too, Im just saying some of the members on here are VERY immature, and you know what, My experience with VTR overall has turned out great, and ofcorse thats my opinion, now i have a great runnung Z and I have peace of mind knowing that if i ever have a problem it will be taken care of the right way, i have no complaints at all about VTR i brought the car to him with stuff that needed to be done, and things that needed to be troubleshooted, and in the end, everything was fixed, and so far so good

I now have to re-consider posting things because people have to try and make somone look bad, im not saying just this topic, i see it On alot of topics

but then again thats my opinion, so Please close this Topic, PROBLEM SOLVED! =)

No, seriously, I couldn't make it through the whole thing. Grammar is like air: you only appreciate it when it's gone.

Yes, it can get brutal here, but don't let that stop you from posting or asking questions.

There is a lot you can learn from others about your Z here. The majority of people here are actually quite rational and civilized.

No the problem wes a stock, non-flashed ecu, the exhaust was cloged also, but the timing was what mad the headers heat up (read first few posts) like i said we dident know it was a non-flashed ecu, the ecu was sent out and now the car runs like a dream =)
