Default Passenger Seat Won't Slide

I did a search with no luck. I got in the car one day, the passednge seat was on the most rear position of the rail and won't move. It's as if the motor is disconnected. I looked for a fuse checked (I couldn't find any for the power seats), checked wires (nothing noted), and tried the button of course no luck. Anyone know of anything to repair the seat so it slides back and forth? Thank you.

Everything has an order. First question....is it a Mechanical or Electrical problem? Either way, the seat will have to come out. Activate the motor from a source direct. Does it sound like it is trying ? If so, disconnect the actuation arm and do it again. Does it cycle ? If so, you have a Mechanical Problem. Simple.......Find it. Is it a piece of garbage in the track ? Do what has to be done to free up the slide assy and lube with white grease and what ever it is, see to it that it doesnt happen again

Back to square one...If the motor doesnt run from an outside source, then its bad. If it does and the sliders work, test the input line for pwer when activated. Is there a fuse? I dont know. Nissan is poor as far as identifying locations even in their Factory Books which I have. I may try to find it later

When I push the button, nothing happens. As if the motor is either dead or is getting no power. I've looked at the fuse box under the hood and the one by the drivers left leg with no luck. I haven't been able to find any fuses related to the seat other than a heater fuse anywhere. I hardly use the button but I'll check the wires again. Thank you.

No luck still. I looked by the battery and saw a fuse box but no seat fuse. Anyone out there know of a fuse anywhere in the car that may be related to the seat motor? Is there an additional fuse box besides the one by the drivers feet and the one next to the battery? Other than these two, I have had no luck at all.

I've searched and checked all three fuse boxes, nothing. Does anyone know of a specific fuse for the power seats? I hardly use the seat controls and I have checked all the wires, rail, switch is clean etc. Anyone????

Thumbs down

Auto electrical shop time, CarlitoZ!---NEVER the stealership, though!!! Good luck!
(BTW, I'm impressed with your savvy, Eazzy! Your analysis was very thorough, dude! He's gonna have to take it to the auto electrical technician,
though).

i know this is an old dead thread... the seat switches are bad switches and poorly designed. My seat is stuck in the rear most position and I cannot reach the pedals. Anyone know where to purchase new seat switches? The switches I have I attempted to rebuild but the problem is they're worn down so much in one direction that it doesn't work but works the opposite direction.
