Default Volts in Z battery

Is the Z battery (and probably any car battery) 6 Volts or 12 Volts. I just got a Diehard Battery Charger Maintainer. It has a switch were you select 2A, 12V or 4A, 6V. Which one would I select for my 05 Z? I am using the device because I store my car over the winter. Thanks.

Cars use 12V batteries. What would 6V do for you anyways regardless if you store it over the winter or not?

Default Charging

Hey,I work at Interstate Batteries and just shooting you a message. Put the charger on 12v and the lowest amp setting which is 2amps. You may also want to look into a float/trickle charger to keep on your Z. A float charge will cut off when the battery is fully charged and cut back on when the battery starts dropping in voltage, that way you never have to worry about over charging.
