New Motor?

I had 32k miles on my 05 z and it was burning oil. the consumption problem. they replaced it and now im at 37k. im just curious to see who has had this repair and will it happen again?

I only thought the 06+ suffered from this.

so did i. but i had it bad, 4 qts in 3k miles gone.

my 03 was 1.5qts in 600 miles. That was bad!! Got a new longblock and its at about .5qts in 3K now.

i believe 05 enth. is a rev-up and thats the one with problems with oc as well. pretty sure if you search the site theres a 3495834058 page long thread on this topic.

i have an 03 base, my motor was replaced at 30k miles (was burning 1qt every 500 mi), little to no oil burning now, and this car sees track time.
