There is a plug on the bottom for drain and one farther up for fill. Drain it, replace the plug. Remove fill plug, fill it until it runs out the fill plug hole. Replace plug. Drive Vehicle.

Dont feel Dumb.

Its always tough with Trans and Diffs------I used to cut off the top of the bottle then slip some fuel line over it, insert it, and squeeze hell out off the bottle, then refill the same bottle and repeat.

Since then I got a deal that looks like a qrease gun but is like a big syringe, that pulls the fluid up then dispenses when I push the handle in

Use Royal Purple also, you should replace the washer on the drain plug when changing out the fluid in the pumpkin. I got a washer for my tranny and the rear end at the dealer today $4.35 each. Yea stealership!!!!

you can rent the pump at autozone or pep boys. It's not much and will help dramatically when refilling.

OPs post #1 *sigh* tugged at my inner compassionate feelings towards his turmoil and pain. But since he hasnt responded with with an expected success story, those feelings have once again turned to Ice.

*sigh*

Probably the same one you read, but:
https://my350z.com/forum/engine-drivetrain-and-forced-induction-diy/131098-changing-the-differential-transmission-oil.html

Yes, you will need a "vacuum gun" or whatever, but you can find them at any car parts place really cheap. Makes it a million times easier.

@Musto: You should change the oil, oil filter and copper crush washer on the drain plug at the same time. Any lube place should theoretically do this.
