Default Oil leak from somewhere

04 auto G35 coupe with vortech S/C.

Well yesterday I was changing the Oil on my car and when I removed the cover underneath the car it was full of oil on it. I was like WTF I never seen any oil drip in my driveway or anything. Upon looking further I see that my alternator is soaking wet with what seems to be oil I was like oh $hit my power steering fluid is leaking, but its not low or anything and none of the hoses are wet. I checked all the lines to the tranny and they too are all dry. Everything was still dry and the oil was dripping down from underneath the alternator only. The fluid was a dark red color almost like the color of beets, but I check my fluids regularly and nothing was low. So I clean everthing up and just drove it till today when I jacked it up againg and dont see any leaking under the alternator. Everything is all good. Just wanted some opinions on what it could be.

Another thing, I usually get my oil filter from Nissan when doing my oil changes and I just so happened to look at the filter this time and read it and it said it was made in China.I was like WTH, Just suprised me a lil b/c I assumed it was made in Japan.

I had a crank seal bad w/the same problems as above. it never registered low either. nissan replaced the AC belt due to oil saturation, and my car has less than 30k on it. I think it only had 26k or so when that was done.

thats exactly what happened to me, my first oil change with the Z and they were too lazy to undo all the bolts/clips on the bottom while putting in the MOBIL1 , and got oil all over the cover. So next time i watched them and guess what? no oil spills!

Na I always do my oil changes myself. I thought is was the powersteering fluid too but its dry and and the hoses to it are dry too and the fluid level is still good. Imma jack it back up and check around the crank seal area.
