No free play in the clutch / master slave cylinder?
I was told by a car doctor that part of my clutch being hard is, there is no free play in the top quarter or my clutch pedal. Also he said this could be due to the master slave cylinder.
Does anyone understand this? Know anything about these parts? Let me know!

Free play
The Z is different than other cars in how the clutch feels. The first time I pushed the clutch in one, I thought, "this clutch needs adjustment as there is no free play!
In the Z it is not easy to detect the free play because there is a strong spring holding the pedal up.
If you look under the dash and push the clutch pedal a little, you "should" see that the pedal moves about a 1/4 inch before the pushrod to the clutch master cylinder moves.
Hard to push the clutch pedal? Can't say without looking at it.
