Automobile Magazine 6 Month review and they noticed tire noise
Just got the Automobile Magazine (July 2003 Issue) and they have a 6-month review of the 350Z. Here is a quote from what they said after 14,000 miles. “There’s also plenty of tire noise from the Bridgestone Blizzak winter treads, and the stereo is too weak to drown it out"
I am not sure if they changed the tires for there logbook review, so I am not sure what they are talking bout with "Blizzak winter treads". Seems to me that they have the same problem as we are having. I just wonder if they looked at the tires, and if so why did they not report that they were cupping on the insides. I do not see how they could have that noise if they do not have the problems that we are having. Did they just not report it to protect Nissan? I really would like to contact Automobile Magazine and ask they what they found to be the cause of the tire noise

Its too hard to tell because they're using the snow tires. The Blizzaks are pretty noisy on dry pavement even when brand new. They may be getting feathered snow tires, but its too hard to tell unless they explicitly say so.
