Guys,

Any of you have a bad rattle in the upper right corner of your dash...right up by the corner of the windshield on the passenger side? It sounds like a BB shaking around in a plastic cup!

OMG HELP ME!

 

Yep I have that rattle too but it only does it now and then.

 

I searched google and found this from the TSA service manual:

Problem:
It sounds like a midget is under the dash with a small hammer

Solution:
Remove hammer from midget.

 

i have a rattle in my passanger side visor....

 

I ripped apart dash and everything else that rattled and secured everything with velcro. No more rattles.

 

i think this just started on my car...i wedged a piece of paper between the windshield and the dash on the upper far right side and it seems to help...going to get some rubber to use instead...hope it helps

 

i get this rattle sometimes too..I just Slam the dash so the midget drops the hammer and shuts for a couple of days till he find it again..

I have this annoying rattle too, right of the cup holder pass. side. Kind of like a springy plastic cup sound as well. 04.5 Z

 

this **** just started happening after my exhaust install, and its driving me nuts at times too. I thought for sure it was the damn pop out cup holder but its further over in the corner like you said.

 

I have this rattle too on my 06. I had a friend ride with me and he found that by pushing on the trim on the A-pillar where it meets the dash it would stop.

I have yet to do anything about it. It does not rattle that often in my car.

 

Hehe, after I installed my coilovers, you can actually hear my car trying to rattle itself apart. So damn annoying.

 

I actually had this rattle and it finally drove me past my patience. Took the dash apart and found were the rattle is coming from. Right under the passenger side dash there is a metal bracket when you bang your dash you'll notice this **** rattles. Had no other solution other then using some Home Depot foam. So I just stuffed 2 t-shirts in there and problem solved. Hope this helps!

 

I looked into mine the last time I had my windshield replaced.
